Morgen is het twintig jaar geleden dat het Chinese leger de opstand op het Plein van de Hemelse Vrede neersloeg. Waarom is het geen wereldnieuws dat nu al weken Blogger, YouTube, de meest populaire Chinese weblogs en sinds gister ook heel Twitter in China geblokkeerd worden? Is iedereen zo bang geworden om negatief over China te berichten?
Tomorrow is the twenty year anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre. Why is it that CNN has it front page when Twitter and Facebook are blocked a few days in Iran, but nobody reports (big) on the fact that China has for weeks already been blocking Blogger, YouTube, the most important Chinese weblogs and since yesterday also Twitter? Has everyone become THAT afraid to report negatively on China?
